The episode starts with Harleen asking go to help her to meet her family. Nehmat turns around. But a lady stands in front of Harleen hiding her from Nehmat’s view. In the night, Nehmat wakes up startled, saying Ekam. She realizes that Ekam hasn’t returned home and calls him, but finds his phone switched off. So, she calls his office and learns that Ekam is gone on emergency duty. Nehmat wonders where Ekam is.
Two ladies find Harleen asleep on the steps and ask her why she’s not going to her home. Harleen says that she doesn’t know where her house is. They think that Harleen was thrown out of the house and take her with them to a Gurudwara. Ekam reaches home late. Nehmat asks Ekam where he has gone. She hugs him crying and expresses her fear of losing him. Ekam holds Nehmat’s hand. He wipes away her tears. He says that he is always with her and Alia. Nehmat asks why he didn’t leave by telling her. He apologizes to her. He promises to never leave without telling her. He asks her to promise to never leave him and Alia.
Nehmat comes wiping her wet hair after a shower. Ekam admires her. Ekam is about to hug her while Nehmat tries to shake hands with him and vice versa. They laugh. Ekam and Nehmat get close. Just then, Alia comes there and asks Ekam if he has troubled Nehmat again. Ekam lifts Alia. Yeh zindagi gale lagaa le plays in the BG. Harleen is shown working in the Gurudwara while Ekam, Nehmat are playing carrom with Alia and Tigger and then getting ready for school. In the Gurudwara, a lady asks Harleen if she remembers anything about her family. She feels bad for her and asks her to keep praying.
Alia reminds Ekam and Nehmat about her birthday coming and says that it should be celebrated as Harleen is used to celebrate it. Alia comes home and looks for her parents and Tigger. Ekam, Nehmat and the family surprise Alia. They sing happy birthday. Nehmat says to Alia that it’s Alia’s first birthday with her. Nehmat gave her a dress to wear at the party. Alia says that she will invite all her friends and introduce her mom to them. Nehmat and Ekam are surprised and happy to hear this. Alia says to Nehmat that she will call her mom hereafter. Nehmat becomes emotional and hugs her.
Ekam also decides to invite his friends to introduce his wife to them. Alia says that she will introduce her new mom to them. Alia hugs Nehmat. Renuka and Cherry are overjoyed. At the Gurudwara, the priest assures Harleen, who is wondering when her memory will be back, that she will regain her memory soon by God’s grace.
Ekam gets dresses that match with Alia’s dress for himself and Nehmat. Ekam says that he has to go on a mission, but he refuses to tell Nemmat what it is about. Nehmat worries about Ekam since she heard him talking on the phone about terrorists. Ekam reassures Nehmat and asks her to make sure no one knows that he is going to work. He leaves. However, Nehmat feels restless and prays for Ekam’s safety.
Nehmat brings the birthday girl Alia. Satti pampers Alia. The latter asks Nehmat where Ekam is. Nehmat lies to her that Ekam has gone to get a gift for her and he must be on the way. Meanwhile, Ekam is shown on his mission. Here, Nehmat phones Ekam and finds his phone switched off. She grows worried about Ekam and prays for his safety. There, Ekam and his team catch the criminal. Here, Tigger says to the family that Ekam is coming on the TV which shocks Nehmat.
Nehmat and the family watch the news channel on which the reporter says that Ekam caught a dangerous criminal by killing the other three and she praises him. Nehmat thanks God for keeping Ekam safe. Harleen also watches the same news and regains her memory. She says that Ekam is her husband and Alia is her daughter. She decides to go to Ekam and Alia as soon as possible.

Precap: Harleen arrives. Ekam, Nehmat and Alia are shocked. Harleen says to Ekam that she is back, so Nehmat should leave Ekam and Alia’s life, which shocks Nehmat.
