The episode starts with Nehmat asking Sartaj to open his mouth so that she can feed food to him. She says that she made a mistake of applying the turmeric to his wounds before he ate. Sartaj shows tantrums at Nehmat. Harleen arrives there. She sees Nehmat feeding a guy whose back is facing towards her. Nehmat assures Sartaj to take good care of him. Harleen misunderstands Nehmat. The latter notices Harleen’s reflection in the mirror and is shocked. Harleen runs from there crying. Nehmat goes after Harleen, ignoring Sartaj, asking her where she is going.
Harleen cries hard, recalling Nehmat rejecting Ekam in the wedding mandap and Ekam expressing the pain Nehmat caused him. Nehmat sees Harleen crying and becomes teary eyes. She masks her emotions. She asks Harleen what she’s doing here. Harleen asks Nehmat what she’s doing with that guy. She says that she was guilty of facing her after marrying Ekam, who is Nehmat’s love. She accuses Nehmat of leaving Ekam for that guy. She asks Nehmat if it’s the truth. Nehmat acts rudely towards Harleen and asks her to leave. She asks Harleen to go and tell everyone the truth, but she pretends that she doesn’t care about it.
Harleen lashes out at Nehmat for ruining both families’lives. Harleen shows Nehmat her dress and narrates what happened when she wore it mistakenly. She accuses Nehmat of starting a new life with that guy while Ekam is suffering because of her. Harleen says that she used to think that she didn’t have any rights on this dress, but after knowing the truth, she wouldn’t even let Nehmat touch this dress, as it would be an insult to Ekam. Harleen says that Nehmat doesn’t deserve Ekam. Nehmat says yes and asks Harleen to go to Ekam. Nimmo sees this. She feels bad for Nehmat. She thinks that Nehmat is as selfless as Tejo. Sartaj calls out to Nehmat. The latter says to Harleen not to tell anyone about her whereabouts. She says that she moved on in her life and asks Harleen to move on in her life with Ekam.
Ekam prepares the birthday surprise for Harleen. Renuka helps him, but she clarifies that she’s doing it for Ekam’s sake. At Sandhus house, everyone gets ready for Harleen’s birthday. Naaz says that she forgot to get Harleen’s gift. She says that she will coke later and asks the family to leave. Everyone leaves. Jasmine warns Naaz not to create a scene on Harleen’s birthday and leaves. Naaz phones Balveer and says that she will be ready before he arrives. She says that she will feed sweets to everyone even though it’s Harleen’s birthday.
Harleen asks Nehmat to never return to their lives. She says that she thought till now Ekan belongs to Nehmat and she shouldn’t come between them, but not anymore. She claims that Ekam is her husband and asks Nehmat to stay away from her husband. Harleen leaves. Nehmat bursts into tears. Nimmo comforts Nehmat. Sartaj sees this. Nehmat says that Ekam could also find her. She says that she has to remove herself from Harleen and Ekam’s hearts too, so that they can grow close. On the other hand, Harleen can’t believe that Nehmat could cheat on Ekam. She cries, sitting on the steps of the temple. She is told to tie holy threat in the tree so that her wish gets fulfilled. There, Sartaj taunts Nehmat. Here, Harleen ties the holy thread around the tree.
