The episode starts with Nehmat talking with Ekam on call. Ekam asks why he isn’t answering his calls. Nehmat wonders if she should tell him that she asked to investigate about Jayveer. Nehmat says that she was busy, so she couldn’t receive his call. Ekam asks Nehmat to lay down on the cot and admire the sky and the stars. Nehmat obliges. Ekam says that Rama called them and said that Mallika and Advait’s wedding date is fixed. He said that Jayveer got emotional after hearing this and the first time there wasn’t worry in his eyes. Nehmat cries, feeling guilty that her article would ruin Ekam and his family’s happiness. Ekam asks Nehmat to accompany him the next day to buy gifts for Mallika. Nehmat agrees. After hanging the call, Nehmat thinks that she doesn’t want to spoil Ekam’s happiness by telling him about the article.
Nehmat wonders how to stop the article’s publishing. She remembers Advait offering help to her. Nehmat hesitates remembering Ekam, telling her that Mallika doesn’t want her to meet Advait. However, Nehmat phones Advait and seeks his help for Mallika and Ekam’s sake. Ekam asks what the problem is. Nehmat says that she will tell him that by meeting him. Advait agrees. Nehmat asks Advait not to tell Mallika about their meeting. Naaz hears this and wonders why Nehmat is talking with Advait late at night and she’s going to meet him. She smirks, planting to use this to create misunderstanding between Nehmat and Mallika.
The next morning, Nehmat is on call with Mallika. She says to Mallika that she can’t meet as she has some important meeting. Nehmat receives Advait’s message. He shares the location to meet. Rupy calls out Nehmat to have food. Nehmat leaves her phone. Naaz uses this opportunity and sees Advait’s message. Then she returns the phone to Nehmat. Rupy asks Nehmat what is bothering her. Nehmat says nothing. Naaz says that Nehmat only shares worries with Ekam. Nehmat leaves without having food by saying that she has an important meeting.
Advait phones Mallika and says that she has an important work, so he can’t go shopping with her. Mallika gets upset. Naaz phones Mallika and convinces her to go shopping along with her and Nikhil by saying that Rama wanted that. Naaz asks Mallika to pick her up at her house. Naaz thinks that Mallika should come as Advait cancelled his plan with her to meet Nehmat. She smirks.
Nehmat meets Advait in a coffee shop and tells him about the article on Jayveer’s suspension. Nehmat seeks Advait’s help to delay the article publishing. Advait wants to call her boss to stop the publishing. But Nehmat stops Advait. She says that her boss could assign this work to someone else. She says that she can’t afford it as Jayveer and Ekam could be in trouble. She says that she and Ekam always wanted to know the reason behind Jayveer’s suspension as they doubt that her parents’ accident and Jayveer’s suspension were connected and a big politician was involved in this. Advait thinks that he can never let Nehmat find the truth. Advait says that he will help, as Jayveer and Ekam are now his family too.
Advait decides to talk directly to the owner about it. He calls him, but he doesn’t answer him. So he says that he will contact him later. Meanwhile, Naaz and Mallika are on the way. Naaz cunningly takes Mallika by the route on which the coffee shop where Nehmat and Advait meet is. Naaz pretends to be sick and sends Mallika inside the coffee shop to get a coffee for her. Mallika is annoyed yet she goes inside. Nehmat is about to call Ekam to tell him about the article, but Advait stops Nehmat by holding her hand. Mallika sees this and gets teary eyes. Mallika recalls the astrologer’s words. She angrily leaves from there. Naaz smirks seeing this hiding. She thinks that she will win the challenge soon.
Advait says to Nehmat not to tell Ekam about the article now. He says that action can be taken on Nehmat if anyone knows that she told this to Ekam and it will have negative effects on those whom she wants to protect. He convinces Nehmat to tell Ekam after completing her research. At Randawa’s mansion, Advait finds Mallika crying and asks what happened. He teases her with Advait. Mallika cries harder. Ekam asks if Advait fought with her. Mallika says that Advait didn’t go shopping with her. He cancelled that plan and went to meet Nehmat in the coffee shop. She says that she saw them having coffee in the coffee shop looking into each other’s eyes. Ekam says that Mallika has a misconception. He says that Nehmat is a journalist and Advait is a politician. They could have met for any professional reason. He advises Mallika to decide how to move ahead, balancing her relationship with Advait and her friendship with Nehmat by trusting them. He tells Mallika how important any relationship is based on trust. Mallika says that they lied to her and met behind her back. Ekam consoles Mallika. He says that he will meet Nehmat in the evening and will talk to her.
Nehmat is waiting for Ekam. She recalls Advait’s words. She is guilty of hiding the truth from Ekam and is scared to face Ekam. Ekam meets Nehmat and asks her why she didn’t meet Mallika. Nehmat says that she is busy on a toughest assignments. Ekam asks if she was in the office the whole day. Nehmat lies, yes. Ekam wonders why Nehmat is lying to her.
