The episode opens with Akash pretending to speak to his wife, Riya, over the phone. Renuka, already irritated by Riya’s absence from the anniversary celebration, insists that she wants to talk to her daughter-in-law directly. At the same time, Joy and Mamta express their displeasure toward Akash for allowing Riya to overwork even on such an important day. Pressured by their questions, Akash lies and claims that Riya has only just left the recording studio and will arrive soon.
Meanwhile, Sachin and Sayali spend the evening roaming across the city, anxiously searching for Riya, who still has not reached the venue. Their prolonged absence sparks suspicion in Tejas and Renuka, who wonder why the couple is missing during the celebrations.
Joy eventually corners Akash again, demanding a clear explanation. He is worried and annoyed by the unusually long delay of his daughter’s arrival, and he begins doubting Akash’s intentions. At this moment, Anish enters and immediately senses Akash’s distress. Exhausted from constantly lying, Akash admits his struggle, but Anish urges him to keep the truth hidden a little longer. No sooner does he leave than Joy returns, confronting Akash once again about Riya’s absence. Unable to craft another convincing lie, Akash stutters and fails to provide any coherent explanation. Renuka joins in, pressing him for answers. Desperate, Akash claims that Riya has gone to a beauty parlour to get her makeup done, but Joy and Mamta remain unconvinced by his shifting stories.
To divert their attention, Akash suggests starting the cultural program so that the guests remain entertained. Joy agrees, but firmly instructs Akash to bring Riya before Renuka’s dance performance ends. To fill time, Renuka takes the stage and begins her dance. However, Joy and Mamta openly criticize her overly dramatic expressions, which only adds to the tension. Akash and Tejas plead with Renuka to stretch the performance as long as possible, hoping to delay the inevitable confrontation. Though physically exhausted, Renuka continues dancing, even switching to a Hindi song to keep the audience occupied. After her act, Roshni captivates the crowd with her own dance performance, during which Tejas joins her enthusiastically. Still, Riya remains nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, Sachin and Sayali continue their search and eventually return to the studio. From one of Riya’s colleagues, they learn that she had recently contacted a divorce lawyer. Shocked, they rush to the lawyer’s office, where they finally find Riya. Though startled at first, Riya soon opens up and confesses everything to Sachin and Sayali, revealing the issues she has been facing with Akash. She tearfully admits that she wants a divorce and is no longer willing to tolerate her husband’s behaviour.
Back at the venue, Joy and Mamta confront Akash again, now certain that he has been hiding the truth. Renuka, too, becomes furious, blaming Riya for embarrassing the family and creating unnecessary chaos. Sachin and Sayali attempt to calm Riya and explain the misunderstanding, but she refuses to listen, determined to take her own stand.
