The episode opens with Sayali facing growing hostility in her professional life. In the decoration business, Mandira, her rival, begins undercutting prices to snatch clients away. Mandira confidently promises a customer that she will finish the entire decoration within sixty thousand rupees, whereas Sayali had quoted one lakh sixty thousand—an amount more realistic for such work. Sayali realizes Mandira’s offer is impossible to fulfill honestly. However, Mandira’s motive is not to profit but to eliminate Sayali from the competition entirely. Her plan is to initially promise low rates and later demand extra money at the last moment, damaging Sayali’s reputation in the process. A stranger warns Sayali about Mandira’s manipulative ways, advising her to stay cautious of that woman who cannot tolerate any competition in her field.
Meanwhile, at home, Tejas returns after working overnight at the showroom. Exhausted, he knocks on the door of his room, but Roshni does not respond for a long time. Concerned, Renuka and the others gather outside the door. Sayali and Sachin begin to worry that Roshni might have done something drastic under emotional stress. Finally, Sachin forces the door open, and they find Roshni sleeping soundly. Renuka becomes furious, mistaking Roshni’s deep sleep as negligence. Without showing any sympathy, she orders Tejas to freshen up quickly and return to the showroom. Sayali and Sachin exchange frustrated looks, both tired of Renuka’s constant harshness and insensitivity.
Later, Sayali discusses two troubling matters with Sachin. First, she tells him about Mandira’s jealousy and how she managed to steal an order by offering an unrealistically low rate. Second, she reveals that Roshni appears to be in touch with Chitti—a man with a criminal past who once ruined Sachin’s life. Shocked, Sachin suspects that Roshni’s dealings with Chitti are not just about money and fears she might have asked him for some kind of illegal help. Determined to uncover the truth, Sachin decides to investigate the matter himself.
In another scene, Roshni quietly approaches her father-in-law, Paresh, to apologize for her actions. She admits her mistakes and pleads for forgiveness. Although Paresh understands her intentions and the pressure she was under, he cannot condone her choices. He points out that the money she used was equally the right of Sachin and Akash, who never revealed anything about it. Deeply disappointed, Paresh leaves for work without forgiving her completely.
Meanwhile, Sachin earns a considerable amount in a single day but soon faces trouble when his car breaks down. The repair costs him five thousand rupees, which saddens him as he realizes how hard Paresh and Sayali are also working to make ends meet.
During dinner, Renuka humiliates Roshni once again by not allowing her to eat with the family. She orders her to wait until everyone else finishes. Sayali, Sachin, Riya, and Akash feel frustrated watching Renuka’s selfish and dominating behavior, especially since she has used Roshni whenever it suited her. Unable to bear the insult, Roshni storms out and goes to Shakuntala’s house, where she breaks down. Shakuntala feels heartbroken for her and comforts her gently.
Back home, Sayali notices Paresh working tirelessly despite his age. She serves him food and tea when he returns, trying to ease his burden. When she suggests celebrating Diwali to lighten the mood, Paresh refuses, still upset over the family tensions. Soon, he learns that Roshni has left the house, deepening his sorrow.
