Udne Ki Aasha 23rd October 2025 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode opens with Paresh confirming that Roshni will play the role of Manthara in the upcoming Ramleela drama. Sachin teasingly remarks that the role suits her perfectly, given her real-life temperament. However, Roshni later learns that she has actually been assigned the role of Queen Kaikeyi, which brings a mix of surprise and pride. Meanwhile, Akash is chosen to portray Laxman, and Sachin’s friend Anish takes on the energetic role of Hanuman. The professional director overseeing the play is impressed with the family’s character selections and praises Paresh’s organizational skills, even requesting him to act as King Dashrath himself. He motivates everyone by emphasizing that their performance must be top-notch and filled with authentic emotion.
As rehearsals begin, Tejas realizes that his character has very few dialogues, leaving him disappointed and disheartened. The director, however, reassures him that even with minimal lines, a strong performance can make a big impact. On the other hand, Sachin struggles to adapt to his role, finding it difficult to express the depth required. The entire Deshmukh family faces challenges memorizing lines and understanding the emotional weight of their characters. Despite repeated rehearsals, confusion and minor mistakes persist.
Observing this, Shakuntala suggests that the family should practice directly on the main stage to get comfortable with the environment. Excitement spreads among the other participants and audience members, but Mrs. Kulkarni waits eagerly for the Deshmukh family to make a blunder. She is convinced that Renuka’s family will fail miserably in front of everyone and bring embarrassment upon themselves. Inside, Renuka gathers her family and pleads with them to perform according to the script so that they don’t give Mrs. Kulkarni a chance to defame them.
When the final rehearsal begins, confusion again takes over. Many of the actors forget their cues or mix up their dialogues. Tejas becomes restless about his grand entry and constantly interrupts. Riya, trying to manage the chaos, gives a brief introduction to the story of Ramayana and cues her family to begin. Paresh, as King Dashrath, starts the play confidently and delivers his lines with conviction. The rest of the family gradually follows his lead, giving their best effort. However, things take a humorous turn when Tejas unexpectedly walks on stage disguised as a maid, demanding to play the main role. Sachin, Sayali, and Akash desperately try to manage the situation, pushing him offstage while maintaining the act. The audience finds the mix-up entertaining, but Mrs. Kulkarni fumes with anger, calling it a disgraceful performance.
In the next act, Paresh and Renuka shine in their emotional confrontation as Dashrath and Kaikeyi. Watching them, Sachin internalizes his role as Lord Ram, connecting it with his own life experiences. His portrayal becomes heartfelt and genuine, moving the audience. However, during an intense scene, both Sachin and Sayali forget their lines. With Riya’s subtle hints from backstage, they recover and continue. Improvising slightly, Paresh and Sachin add personal emotion to their dialogue, but the audience interprets this as lack of preparation and criticizes their casualness.
Finally, Tejas makes his much-anticipated entrance as Ravana, but again deviates from the script. As he holds Sayali’s hand aggressively during the act, she breaks character and shouts at him in anger. The situation escalates when Sachin intervenes, leading to a heated argument between the two brothers in front of everyone. The director stands shocked as the stage dissolves into chaos. A furious Mrs. Kulkarni mocks the Deshmukh family for their lack of discipline and unity, labeling their play a complete disaster.
Episode ends.
