Saroj is crying in the beginning of the episode. Kusum wants to go to Saroj. Dhanraj says that it is good that Indu made Saroj cry or else Saroj’s dried up tears would become a canker for her. Kusum says that she cannot see Saroj crying like this so she wants to go to her. Dhanraj says that she should let Saroj be alone and let her cry. Kusum says that God has made them all cry a lot and they will never get over this pain.
Here Saroj is looking at Chiru’s childhood clothes. She remembers that she sewed a shirt for Chiru and he always wore this shirt as he thought it was his lucky shirt. She says that she kept this shirt so that when Chiru has a son, she can give it to him. She sees Chiru’s toys and says that she kept everything safe but she could not handle Chiru. Chiru’s words begin to resonate in her ears.
Here Kusum says that she was Chiru’s elder sister but Chiru always takes care of her like an elder brother. She says that Chiru always knew why she was sad. Dhanraj says that everyone is calling him and asking about business. He says that he doesn’t know anything about business. Tej sees that Dhanraj is very upset and asks him to calm down. Anjali asks where is Kanha.
Dhanraj tells her that he will return with Chiru’s ashes. Here Kanha is coming towards the house. He comes to Sayuri. He places the urn of Chiru’s ashes in Sayuri’s hand. He remembers the time spent with Chiru. He says that today he did not burn his brother but has burnt the world of his parents. He says that Chiru has gone away from him and he will not be able to live without Chiru. He asks God why he did this to him.
He starts crying. Sayuri remembers how happy she was for her marriage but all her dreams were shattered. Kanha and Sayuri imagine that Chiru is standing in front of them. They both hug Chiru but Chiru’s shadow leaves in front of them. Next morning Sayuri sees that everyone in her family is very upset. She goes to her father’s picture and says that he had said that all will be well but all is over.
Then she hears Balwant’s voice. She asks him where is he. Balwant says that he is with her. He tells her that he is taking Chiru with him but she has to take care of everything else. Sayuri says that she is broken and she will not be able to handle anyone. Balwant encourages her. Sayuri promises him that she will fulfill all her responsibilities. Kanha sees the ring which Chiru has taken for Sayuri and Saroj. He gets sad.
