The colors show Dharam Patni is all about bad decisions, love and Pratiksha’s fight for her rights.
Mandip and Dolly make fun of Pratiksha at the beginning of the episode for sleeping in late. They begin seeing clothes from the designer. Ravi is excused by Pratiksha for being late to get up. Ravi tells her it’s alright and instructs her to pick the appropriate saree for the Janmashtami celebration.
How can Pratiksha accompany them, Kavya wonders. She will ride along in their car, claims Ravi. How is her decision displaying the saree, Dolly inquires of Ravi. Ravi claims that she will look good in whatever. Mandip gets a dress from Pratiksha. Ravi is forced to deliver it to Mandip by her. Mandip appreciates the sari.
Kavya requests that Ravi pick the saree for her. Pratiksha presents her with a saree, claiming it will suit her the best. The sari is thrown by Kavya. Mandip requests that she not interfere with Kavya and Ravi. Another saree is picked up by Ravi for Kavya.
Pratiksha’s chosen saree for Kavya is the one he instructs her to wear. Praktika concurs. She requests that the designer pack her that saree. Kavya observes Pratiksha and Ravi’s relationship. She interrupts their interaction by causing boxes to tumble to the ground. Ravi departs for work. Pratiksha’s saree is seen by Kavya.
Ravi gets ready later. When he notices Pratiksha is not prepared, he tells her to get ready for Janmashtami. He tells her he wants to show off the fact that she is his wife and urges her to get ready well. They suffocate in one another.
Kavya overhears them conversing. Pratiksha promises to arrive after getting ready. She is asked to put flowers in her hair so that Ravi will like it. He departs.
Pratiksha leaves to change. Kavya walks into the space. She decorates her hair with flowers. She inhales Ravi’s attire. Outside the Pratiksha’s lavatory, she pours oil. She has heard that Ravi is returning. She runs off. When Pratiksha exits the lavatory, the wet floor causes her to trip and fall. She screams in agony.Â
As Ravi enters the space, he assists Pratiksha. Kavya anticipates going to the Janmashtami celebration with Ravi. In her fantasy, Ravi will introduce her to other guests as his wife.The family is prepared. They hold out for Pratiksha, Ravi, and Kavya.
Manvi queries why Pratiksha needs to accompany them. Dadi corrects her. Pratiksha’s feet are massaged by Ravi. Pratiksha considers herself fortunate to be his wife. Ravi beams.
In the next episode, Malhar would be asking Pratiksha to confess about their affair in front of the Randhawa’s while Ravi would be asking Pratiksha to prove her innocence.
