The episode starts with Mandira taking out the bangles to put on Shakti’s hand. Shakti takes back her hand from Mandira. Shakti emphasises to Mandira that she already said she will not do this marriage. Keertan asks Shakti to speak with respect. Shakti asks Keertan not to speak about respect. Rimjim reminds Shakti that Keertan is her fiance and she will not allow her to insult Keertan. Shakti says to Rimjim that Keertan is not worthy to be her fiance as Keertan was speaking in college just before that he wants to marry her. Rimjim asks Shakti to shut up.
Keertan admits to Shakti and everyone that he spoke about marriage in the college. Keertan later clarifies that he spoke about Rimjim and his marriage and says Shakti might have misunderstood him. Keertan says to everyone that he would like to clear all the misunderstandings once and for all. Keertan says to Shkati that he loves Rimjim from the first time he saw her at the Ghat. Keertan says to Shakti that he loves Rimjim more than her and gives his word that he will take really good care of Rimjim. Shakti asks Rimjim not to believe Keertan’s lies. Rimjim asks Keertan to stop it. Rimjim argues with Shakti and asks Shakti if she thinks everyone will only love her and not Rimjim. Keertan stops Rimjim and reminds Rimjim that Shakti is her sister.
Keertan says to Shakti that he really loves Rimjim and says they will only be able to marry if she says yes to the marriage with Shiv. Mandira also pleads Shakti to agree to marriage with Shiv and says if she doesn’t marry Shiv then Keertan might die as he will not get Rimjim. Mandira and Keertan also empahasise to Shakti what kind of a great guy is Shiv.
Manorama says to Mandira that she will agree to this marriage proposal but only to Keertan and Rimjim’s marriage. Mandira reminds Manorama that Keertan and Rimjim will only be able to get married if Shiv and Shakti get married. Manorama says to Mandira that she will not do Shakti’s marriage with Shiv against her will. Manorama says she will agree to Keertan and Rimjim’s marriage. Shakti tries to change Manorama’s mind about Keertan and Rimjim’s marriage. Manorama says she also respects Rimjim’s will the same way she respects her will.
Rimjim asks Mandira to leave Shakti and says to Mandira that she will do whatever it takes to prove herself as an ideal daughter in law.
Mandira apologises to Rimjim and says she can’t go against her family for her. Mandira takes off the bangles from Rimjim’s hand. Keertan begs Mandira not to do that and says he can’t live without Rimjim. Mandira comes to Shakti and whispers in her ear and that’s Shakti will come to her and beg her to do Shakti’s marriage with Shiv. Mandira drags Keertan away from Sharma Sadan.
