The episode starts with Maadi Baa saying Anandi to cook Lapshi for her kitchen ritual. Anandi says she doesn’t know where the things are placed in kitchen and had never cooked it before. Sejal tries to go with her to help her but Baa stops her. Devadi goes to kitchen and give all the ingredients to Anandi. She says her to cook alone. Anandi panics and wonders how she will cook. Baa keeps Sejal engaged with work and doesn’t allow her to go.
Anandi thinks at her home Ratan used to make full pressure cook for just four of them so she must cook the whole container too. When she pours the cereal, the cooker gets filled up till brim. She thinks there is no space to add water so again empties it a bit. Then she adds water and tries to close the cooker but cannot tighten the lid. Devali watches all this hiding and thinks soon there will be blast. Anandi thinks to get help from someone but she doesn’t find anyone around. When she herself closes the lid of cooker, her hand gets pressed in between causing her pain.
Kanku comes and sit on swing. Sejal signs her to go and help Anandi. Kanku tells Baa she is going to bring apple as she is feeling hungry. She asks Baa and Sejal if they also want it but they deny. Devali stops Kanku outside kitchen but she manages to go inside. Kanku quickly tries to write down the recipe to help Anandi but she cannot complete it due to Devali. Anandi reads it and sees Kanku had asked her to transfer some quantity from cooker to pan but she doesn’t know what to do next.
Anandi goes outside kitchen and lies to Devali that she is going to use washroom. She comes to Jigar and requests him to let her talk to Ratan for one minute. He scolds her but then gives his phone however Ratan is busy cooking and doesn’t receive the call. Anandi plays a video to see how Lapshi is cooked but before she could finish Jigar comes back and takes the phone. Anandi sees Devali waiting outside her room. She throws a decorative piece to distract her and quickly runs inside her room. Devali scolds her for being late.
Anandi sees that there is no ghee among the ingredients that Devali gave her. She sees it placed on top of the shelf and climbs up to get it but falls down on floor and gets hurt. Sejal makes an excuse of drinking water to go to kitchen but Baa doesn’t allow her and asks Kanku to give her water kept there. Anandi again gets up and takes the ghee. She makes Lapshi according to what she had seen in the video but gets confused if it overcooked or its still raw. She prays to goddess to help her finish this task.
