The episode starts with Thakuma telling Anirudh that she will perform the ritual of washing his feet. Bondita recalls Anirudh didn’t take part in this ritual earlier. She tells Tapur that Anirudh will disagree. Anirudh refuses to take part in the ritual and he explains to Thakuma that bride’s family does all the sacrifices. They give their daughter and they are givers so they deserve to get more respect than groom’s family. Thus he won’t let them wash his feet. Thakuma insists but Anirudh denies. Other village men support Anirudh and tell they won’t be present in this ritual. Anirudh says ritual will happen. He tells all women to sit and men wash their feet. Thakuma blesses Anirudh and then he tells Sumati to sit as well. Sumati apologises to Anirudh for her previous behaviour. Anirudh cleans her feet happily.
Chandrachur is about to leave but waterdrops fall on Chandrachur’s clothes mistakenly when a guy was cleaning his hands. Chandrachur slaps that person and says he should forget his real place and status. Chandrachur shouts at him and tells him to get out. Anirudh stops Chandrachur and says he should respect everyone equally. Such discrimination is not acceptable. Anirudh says noone will leave this place and they should forget the age old beliefs. He tells Chandrachur to apologise to the Angad for the slap. Chandrachur says faith has differentiated between him and Angad in terms of status. He won’t apologise. Anirudh says we are all equal in terms of everything. Our blood is red and we are all humans. Chandrachur is not God to decide anything. Anirudh waits for Chandrachur’s sorry.
Bondita tells Tapur why Chandrachur is being adamant, he should say sorry for his act. Thakuma requests Chandrachur to say sorry for the sake of groom’s family. Trilochan says to Chandrachur that Anirudh won’t leave him easily. Anirudh says Chandrachur should not do this in fear but he should do this to rectify his mistake. Chandrachur still denies and Anirudh says he will kill him if he doesn’t apologise and discriminates. Thakuma apologises to Anirudh on behalf of Chandrachur but Chandrachur then says sorry to Angad. Anirudh tells him to say that they all are equal. Chandrachur repeats it. Bondita feels proud of Anirudh and later she dances with ladies. Anirudh notices her and gets delighted.
Anirudh shows love sign to Bondita. He dances with men and Bondita observes him. She gets shy. Sampurna says she always did wrong to Bondita but now she wants to see her happiness only. Sampurna shows expensive jewels to Bondita saying everything is for her. Bondita says these jewels are nice but she wants something else. She says whoever sent these jewels should come in front of him. Bondita calls Trilochan and tells him come in. Trilochan comes and Bondita says is he angry with her. Trilochan says he is feeling ashamed of what he did. He misunderstood her and even thought of killing her. He couldn’t gather courage to face her. Bondita screams suddenly and Trilochan shows concern to her. She says he should take care of her like a father.
Chandrachur fumes with anger saying Bondita can’t be Anirudh’s wife. She belongs to me only. His spy comes and tells him to accept the truth. Chandrachur gets irked and says only one option is left, that is to kidnap Bondita without anyone’s knowledge. The spy says where he will keep Bondita after kidnapping so that Roychowdhurys fail to find her. Chandrachur says he will hide Bondita in Dhaka.
