The episode starts with Manoj saying Vijay the he too was shocked when he came to know about their love for each other. He says he won’t get a woman like Mauli as she is the most suitable person for Rahul. Tanvi gets angry and Tanvi throws away the ‘Sagun ki thali’ and becomes furious with this proposal. She says how he can think of them getting married, Vijay joins Tanvi. Both of them insults Manoj saying he is a selfish person. Vijay says nothing else can be expected from them as he was always like this. Manoj reveals that Vijay had a love marriage and it was Manoj who helped them to get united. This fact shocks the family members. Rahul takes side of Mauli and asks his parents what’s the problem. Tanvi replies that as Mauli is divorcee, she won’t be accepted. This statement makes Mauli shattered. Rahul puts up his point of view that one should not be in an unhealthy marriage just to keep away from getting the tag of a divorcee. He even gives them example of incidents when they have supported divorcee people to get married again. They don’t listen to Rahul and continue to blame Mauli that she has trapped their son. Mauli is about to leave the scene but Rahul holds her hand and says as both of them love each other, it’s their responsibility to take stand for it together. Jyoti prays for them. Janki man feel Mauli should have behaved more responsibly. The younger members of the family takes Mauli’s side and how the backdated mindset will ruin their lives. Akshay scolds them and says a divorcee won’t be the the daughter in law of this family. Rati and Vaibhav are really happy, they decide to continue their game. Ajay intervenes to handle the situation but Tanvi and Vijay leave saying there is nothing to be discussed.
Janki maa, Nanhe and Hari discuss the situation. They are angry as they feel Manoj should have discussed it earlier. Nanhe says that it’s their duty now to make them understand. Manoj comes to meet Vijay. Their conversation gets heated. Vijay reacts to him and holds his collar. They are about to get into a nasty fight when the elders of the family arrives and stops them. Mauli is about to hurt herself when Rahul comes and stops her. He says that he loves her and will never let her be lonely. Mauli hugs her and says optimistically that she trusts her love and together they will fight for it.
With the help of Vaibhav Rati acts to be in immense pain. Seeing her cry, Tanvi and Vijay promise her she will get married to Rahul. Meanwhile Rahul arrives and she says that they should accept Mauli to manipulate Rahul. Vijay consoles Rati. Rahul goes against his father and says he will get married only to Mauli. Vijay gets furious and slaps him.

Precap- Janki maa will ask Mauli to leave the house as her presence will break the house. But Mauli will take stand for herself and say she too is a member of the family and Janki maa has taught her to never break the bonding of the house .
