Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Kanchan assists Gaura and requests that she sit in front of Rekha’s dead body. Rekha warns Gaura not to approach Som because the consequences will be unpleasant. Gaura goes to her room.
Ganga instructs Kanchan to bring Gaura to avoid losing face in society. Chanchal calls Gaura to join the rest of the family. Gaura refuses to go because she is afraid of dead bodies. Kanchan requests that Gaura pay one last visit to Rekha.
Gaura says she will continue to pay her visits. Kanchan drags Gaura downstairs by force. Pandit informs Rekha’s family of his prediction about her short life span. Pandit believes Rekha was fortunate in that she died with her sindoor.
He requests that all the women put sindoor on Rekha and themselves because it is considered auspicious. Gaura takes Som’s hand in hers and tries to perform the ritual. Rekha warns her not to make her wear sindoor. Som yanks her hand away from his. Gaura is startled and attempts to flee.
Ganga and Kanchan capture her and force her to participate in the ritual. Rekha threatens Gaura with death and warns her not to touch her dead body. Gaura begs Kanchan and Ganga to keep her safe.
Som begs Ganga and Kanchan not to force Gaura to perform a showoff. He considers Gaura to be worthless. Later, Rekha directs Gaura to remove cotton balls from her dead body’s nose. Gaura says she won’t be able to do it. Rekha threatens her once more.
In the upcoming episode, Gaura takes the cotton balls out of Rekha’s nose. Som pushes her and asks if she has gone insane. Pandit requests that she return the cotton balls because it is getting late. Gaura is adamantly opposed.
